Care Instructions
Over time jewellery can wear, affecting its function and appearance and even the stability of the gemstones. It is best to have your pieces checked once a year and give your piece a general clean and have the stones checked. Romy will be happy to do this service for you to ensure longevity for your item/s.
Please get in touch to book a service.
When purchasing a piece of Romy’s jewellery, it is best to store it in its original packaging, away from other jewellery items. This will prevent scratching and wearing away any surface finish, like gold foil or any oxidised surface.
It is best to remove jewellery if you are going into a swimming pool to avoid oxidising the sterling silver.
Avoid wearing jewellery when gardening, washing dishes or any other activity that may damage your items.
Gold Foil Care instructions
Gold foil is a surface finish that can wear off over time. If you would like to rejuvenate your piece I will be happy to do that for an additional cost. Please get in touch to discuss individual prices.
Be sure to store your pieces separately to avoid scratches and potential damage. To protect your pieces be sure to avoid perfumes, sun creams and other products as it is best to remove your jewellery to avoid potential damage to soft stones and the surface finish of your items.
Once a year you may wish to clean and re vamp your piece, this will come with additional costs.
Please email me to discuss more and arrange a service.
